The Rich Jerk Review
(anonymous A-hole w/ brilliant USP)
Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5

Intro: The Rich Jerk wishes to remain anonymous. If you've read any of his self-promoting, obnoxious bulls**t, then you'd instantly know why he wishes to remain anonymous. Because otherwise, he'd promptly find that he'd need to get to a dentist to replace his teeth. And maybe an orthopedic surgeon to repair a broken arm or two.
But anyone who knows a thing or two about USP (Unique Selling Proposition) or "branding" knows that the Rich Jerk is nothing more than a ploy to get more subscribers. Matter of fact, I don't know him personally, but I know people who do. And I can assure you that he's nothing like the character he invented. Physically, he looks like a nerd. A short, slightly overweight nerd. But there's no denying his head for being able to make people click the "Pay Now" buttons.
But about his product, appropriately named, "The Rich Jerk:" It's basically just an e-book. But an e-book that 'cuts to the chase' about how to make a living online with real, doable methods. The new version includes a "free website." But don't let that sway you. It's the PDF that you want.
Price: $49.95
Cons: Only having to put up with the 'A-hole act,' which is nothing more, of course, than a bold but brilliant USP (Unique Selling Proposition) or "Branding."
Pros: The author gets to the point with no extra filler, except for a comment here and there like, "you're a moron" and other great lines like this. All this simply amounts to ad copy that's designed to perpetuate the 'I'm an obnoxious A-hole because I can be because you will follow me and worship me anyway--because I'm rich and you're not' act.

He gives you examples of what's worked for him and what hasn't. This is really good. |
 |
It's straight, no-nonsense (except for the jerk act nonsense), to-the-point, here's what works information. When you start reading it, you realize that he knows what he's talking about. Even if the income claims are completely exaggerated, I realized that the manuscript speaks the truth. |
 |
The e-book is full of text links to anything linkable that he's talking about. The links are to things that are proven. This is a time-saver. |
 |
He also gives you quick, relevant info on Google's adsense and adwords programs and how to design ad copy, with examples. Some of his methods are 'black hat,' (against most search engines' rules and perhaps unethical), however, you'll be able to filter those and pick out what really works... |

Because most of the info is actually 'white hat.' | This is the main reason I put this ebook on the "Must Read" list. Because it is very cheap for what you get---a real bargain. Not only that, it's a real education on 'fringe branding.' (I just made that up but it fits, doesn't it?) If you're into psychology it's a must- read, too.
More: Well, there you have it. Just like I mentioned in the Vortex Report: The anonymous nature of the internet emboldens people; in person most people would never treat people the way they would in print--especially when there's no danger of actually interacting with your readers! But I suspect that the author thinks most people will see thru the act and actually be entertained...which is what's really been happening!...yes, the gamble paid off for the 'Rich Jerk Company,' well done 'ole boy!
Personally: I bought The Rich Jerk last year (at the time it was $47) on the recommendation of the person who got me started (re-started) in internet marketing.
I've always thought that 'less is more' in most cases when you're talking about instructions and owner's manuals...I mean, who likes to read long instruction manuals? And so is the case with the Rich Jerk; it's short and to the point and full of great info. It's truly a bargain, in my opinion.
But if you're brand-new to online marketing, I'd recommend using "The Rich Jerk" pdf as more or less a reference only...that is, to clarify your main study guide/course. Because on its own, it leaves lots of gaps and assumes the reader already has a fair amount of internet marketing knowledge already.
Just don't let the "I'm Rich an Your Not" part get to you. It's actually an act. A very bold act and a gamble that obviously paid off for him.
