XSitePro Review

Intro:
XsitePro is a web design software product that is really much more than
"just" a website building program.  It was designed to be easy to
use, even if you've never designed a web page before.  But you hear
that all the time about every web site building program...

What's so special about xSitePro is that it makes it a two-click
process of inserting Google Adsense ads or Affiliate links or banners
into your site.  Script installation is a two-click process, too. 
(You just set these things up once.)  The other big difference
between xSitePro and all other website building programs out there
(except for SBI! and to a lesser extent, a couple others) is that it
tells you what to do in order to optimize your site for the Search
Engines.  

Price:  $197

Cons:
As of version 1.55, it still has some bugs in the wysiwyg html text
editor; formatting bugs here and there.  Some of these can be freakin'
maddening.  The "back up" button on the toolbar only backs up
one task--or doesn't work at all...and if you've already hit the "Preview"
button (to preview what your site will actually look like on the web)
then the "back up" button won't even back up one task; you're stuck
with what you have unless you delete a selection.

Pros:
Despite a few annoying text editor bugs, xSitePro is unequaled in
many other areas and it has a loyal following, including myself.  As
far as the few bugs in the text editor, hopefully the next update may
solve these and even if it doesn't, you learn to work around them--
they're not a "show-stopper."  By the way, this site is done with
xSitePro :)

There are a few other site builders out there that step you thru the
optimizing of your site, but none do such a thorough job and make it
so easy as xSitePro and SBI!  xSitePro does have an advantage in this
area over SBI! in that it is quicker to use; you could design and
upload several optimized sites in the time it would take you to do
just one SBI! site. 

(It could be argued, however, that the "one" SBI! site may be better
designed to attract traffic...each SBI! site is just part of a much
bigger, long-term project within SiteSell.)

More:
At this point, I think it's appropriate to compare xSitePro--if only
briefly--to Dreamweaver.  Although I don't own Dreamweaver, I've used
it a couple times and a close friend uses it quite a bit. Dreamweaver
is better suited for the developer, the more computer-savvy 'hand
coder' type of person who wants to build complex sites with every
page having a different layout... It could be argued that Dreamweaver
allows you to do more, there's more options for you---and in that
respect, better.  But I've always liked simpler, easier-to-use
software, though.  Besides, xSitePro sites look as good or better
than most out there.

That being said, also realize that if you get used to using one
program or another--I don't care what it is--you'll think it's easy
to use.  However, nearly every person you talk to will tell you that
xSitePro is easier to learn and use than Dreamweaver.  Even formerly
loyal Dreamweaver users who've switched to xSitePro have said that. 
Just check out some forums on website building and /or internet
marketing, including the xSitePro forum.

But the biggest advantage is the fact that xSitePro was designed from
the ground up as a potential money-making machine; it's designed for
internet marketers who want to make some bucks...

Has a built-in, updated Google Sitemap maker (time saver and helps get your site indexed quicker.)

A detailed report of exactly what you need to do in order to optimize your site for the search engines is one mouse click away.

Another one-click automation tool is the redirect button; disguise ugly URLs or affiliate links.  No cutting and pasting redirect scripts into your html--it's built into xSitePro.

Add a professional-looking links page to your site.  This is great for a reciprocal linking campaign, and it's easy to add more links.

One-click into your site a professional Privacy statement that's built-into xSitePro.  Just customize a couple of things like your own site name and whatever else you want to include.  Takes one minute.

A site navigation menu is automatically generated with one click.  You decide which pages will be on the menu and what each page's title will be.  You can select nav menus on either side, the footer, the header---or all four places.

Add article pages to your site in just two minutes using the fill-in-the-blanks template that follows the exact layout of your site--it will look totally professional.

Has a 130,000 word spell-checker.

Have keywords automatically added to the meta tags of every new web site or web page you create, which saves you a lot of time entering the same keywords again and again.

Display a calculated date whenever someone visits your site, which allows you to make use of powerful special offers such as buy within the next three days and get 10% off.

Create a link on your site that, when clicked, will auto- matically print the current page on the visitors printer, which is a great way to encourage people to print price lists, special offers or any other information that you would like them to have a hard copy of.

Find out how many times any specific word appears on any page, which helps you to create pages that focus on your important keywords and phrases.

Produce a list of all of the links leaving any of your pages, which lets you see how optimized the links are for your chosen keywords and phrases.

Selecting the website-making software for your business shouldn't be
an impulse-buy decision, especially when the software costs nearly
